Kononykheen Breed Twenty Eight may look vintage, but has never retired. It combines the 60's style with contemporary functionality.

Kononykheen Breed Twenty Eight brings you that «oldie but a goodie» tone filled with warmth, and it is built with the knowledge of updated playability. 3-piece fine mahogany body is surprisingly lightweight - no shoulder pain, even after a 2-hour gig! It's joined with a mahogany neck by 4 bolts – providing a tight wood-to-wood contact, without glue or any other external material. This Wenge fretboard, while resembling properties of ebony, has a slightly warmer tone.  The Wenge fretboard and mahogany body are packed into a Kononykheen Speedplay neck which has proven itself as a player-friendly and effortless "fingers highway" without any speed limits.

A 25.5 scale implements the vintage spirit of wood and provides bright attack and clear readability in the treble range. Time-tested Kononykheen Regular series pickups are a  perfect match for Kononykheen Breed Twenty Eight’s wood while producing maximum tonal versatility, sustain and stability. The matching neck and headstock color is a beautiful visual rhyme for the burst body finish, 3-ply White-Black-White pickguard, white binding, honey knobs and chrome hardware.

Like all Kononykheen models, Breed Twenty Eight is a limited series production, and thus, only available for a limited period. Once the series limit is reached, it is our promise to never build the Kononykheen Breed Twenty Eight ever again. Never. Be confident about the fact you own a rare and unique guitar.
